Honest answers to the questions that really matter – about Wealth4Life, your data and your financial future.
Wealth4Life is a Swiss web application that lets you build a complete, lifetime financial plan yourself – with transparent year-by-year projections of your assets, income, taxes, pensions and real estate.
No. Wealth4Life is a planning and simulation tool: it shows you the financial consequences of your decisions over the years – it does not recommend products, investments or specific actions. The results are model calculations based on assumptions, not a financial service within the meaning of the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA). The decisions remain yours – with an independent financial planner at your side if you wish.
A classic analysis is a document with an expiry date. Wealth4Life is a model that lives with you – you adjust it whenever something changes, and you stay in control of the picture at all times. Alone, or together with your advisor.
Anyone living in Switzerland who wants to take their financial future into their own hands – from young professionals to families, homeowners and people approaching retirement. No prior financial knowledge is required: the application guides you step by step.
Yes. Ten financial calculators – from state pension to property gains tax – are included free with every account, including the Free plan. They calculate with genuine Swiss reference values, without requiring you to enter a scenario. And after registering you will find three fully worked example households where you can explore the complete simulation before entering your own data.
The simulation engine models all relevant aspects of a Swiss household:
How much of this is open to you depends on your subscription: Standard covers the household, income, pensions, your own home and taxes. Investment properties, estate planning and events such as separation, disability or death are part of Premium.
Yes – you create as many variants of the same household as you like (“Retire at 62” next to “Buy a home in 2028”), run each one through a full simulation, and weigh the results against each other. Each scenario keeps its own simulation, its own findings and its own report.
Yes. You can model a household with one or two persons, a marriage or partnership, children, joint and personal accounts, joint or separate taxation. Marriage, separation and divorce are first-class events in the engine.
Tax tables, state pension scales, occupational pension parameters and cantonal multipliers are maintained centrally and validated against the official ESTV tax calculator. Updates are rolled out to every user automatically.
More than charts. From every scenario you can generate a formatted financial planning report as a PDF – with your numbers, charts and the critical points of your plan. In addition, the application derives an action plan: what is due, by when – and what it costs to miss it.
No. Wealth4Life sells software – nothing else. We do not sell insurance, mortgages, funds or pension products, and we do not receive commissions or kickbacks from anyone who does. Our business model is software – not product distribution.
Your data is hosted in Switzerland and transmitted encrypted. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising. Your model is accessible to you – and to anyone you actively invite: if you share it with a financial planner, you can revoke that access at any time. For operations and the optional AI features we use carefully selected processors, listed transparently in our privacy policy.
Only when you actively use AI features (such as the chat assistant or AI-generated report texts) is the data required for that feature transmitted to specialised processors – Anthropic (USA) and Cohere (Canada), depending on the feature and its configuration. Details and the respective provider commitments are in our privacy policy.
No. Wealth4Life does not connect to any bank or custody account. You enter your figures yourself – where a number is missing, the application suggests realistic estimates. You decide what goes into the model.
You can download all the data you have entered as an Excel package at any time (data access under Art. 28 of the Swiss Data Protection Act) and request full deletion of your account. Once you request deletion, your data is irrevocably removed within 180 days.
Yes. Through the platform you can grant access to a qualified, independent financial planner. Eligible professionals hold recognized qualifications – from the Swiss federal diploma for financial planners through CFP® to federally certified tax and fiduciary experts; you will find the complete list on the advisor page. They see exactly the same model you see, can refine your strategy and support you in implementation – without ever taking ownership away from you.
The advisors on the platform work with the same living model as you – transparent and traceable. Wealth4Life itself sells no products and receives no commissions. How you settle with your advisor is something you arrange directly with them.
A classic financial plan quickly costs several thousand francs – and goes out of date as soon as your life changes. With Wealth4Life you build the foundation yourself – and a planner only spends time on what really needs an expert. The result is significantly cheaper, and far more valuable, because the model stays alive.
Wealth4Life comes in the plans Free, Standard and Premium – details and pricing are on the product page.
Standard covers classic household planning: income and employment, pensions across all three pillars, your own home and mortgage, taxes at all three levels – and four scenarios. Premium adds what you need when life gets more complex: investment properties, estate and inheritance planning, the events separation, disability and death, phased pension drawdown, the AI assistant – and twelve scenarios.
Yes. A subscription runs for one year at a time and does not renew automatically: without your active renewal it simply expires. You keep access until the end of the paid period – and your data remains yours afterwards, until you delete it. If you renew in time — during the term or up to 14 days after expiry — you get a 25% loyalty discount on the yearly price.
Payments are processed via a regulated Swiss payment provider. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
